This is no Conspiracy Theory

Revised and expanded upon from what began as a Facebook post.

In the beginning, amidst speculation about chemical warfare, I thought if there was a “conspiracy theory” about the origins of COVID-19, it was a plot to get rid of the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions because we are a drain on society. After all, it seemed to be targeting those specific populations.

But now we know that even young healthy people get it and some of them die.

Those nagging thoughts are back now. But it’s not that the virus was created to kill us but the man in the WH who is making life and death policy decisions, who simply doesn’t care if we do.

His policy decisions are all about protecting The White Wealthy Men, like himself. The White Wealthy Men and their families who get priority testing and who will get priority access to hospital beds and respirators and experimental drugs. The White Wealthy Men and their business interests. And their MUNEE.

He pretends businesses have to be protected to protect jobs. But any words of caring from this sociopath are nothing more than that — pretense.

His concerns about suicide are more of the same. Who jumped out of windows during the great depression? Not the workers. The White Wealthy Men. The business owners. The big investors. And that is all he cares about protecting.

Reopen businesses and the hell with how many workers get sick or die and he claims he’s doing what is needed for America. HIS America, not yours or mine.

He pretends to care and pretends to be the smartest. He pretends — poorly — to be a president.

This isn’t a conspiracy. Nor it is a theory. It’s POLICY. Policy being imposed by a sociopathic narcissist. A believer in money, not science. Not human life.

And I’m beyond angry. Anger is a motivator for action. But what we can we do? No, I’m beyond anger. I am just sad. Incredibly sad that he is in charge and refuses to listen to experts.

This is not the slow destruction of the planet for future generations. This HERE and NOW. This is personal. This is you and I and our families. “Our mothers”, New York Governor Cuomo tearfully pleaded, are not expendable. Neither are we.

To the incumbent, we are just collateral damage. Disposable. And a drain on society. He is Seneca Crane conducting The Games and we are the prey to be purged.

What he is proposing in reopening business prematurely is simply another version of the 2009 the “Death Panels” of bureaucrats who would decide who is worth spending medical dollars on. It’s already happing in Spain and, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick suggested that older Americans would be “willing” to die to save the economy. These are not wild conspiracy theories! This is real.

Whether a diabolic plot to kill us, or thoughtlessness, uncaring self-centered hubris, or just stubborn stupidity, or expediency . . . too many lives will be lost if he is not stopped before it’s too late.
