Since 1980, Mirah has been researching, writing and speaking to expose in the underbelly of the mega-billion-dollar child adoption industry: corruption, exploitation, and child trafficking.
She is also an ally and advocate for the rights of adoptees to unrestricted access to their original birth certificate and an end to issuing falsified birth certificates and has authored two internationally acclaimed books and more than two hundred fifty published articles. Her works are cited or quoted in more than eighty books and professional journal articles.
